SmartHealth behavioral health benefits
It is important to speak with your primary care provider (PCP) about your mental health. Your doctor may have behavioral health resources available within their office or have partnerships with counselors and medication management providers.
Find a doctor
You can easily find behavioral health providers on our website. Just click the Find a Doctor button and search for providers and locations specializing in behavioral health. You can search for locations with mental health services, or providers with specialties including counselor, therapy, psychology, addiction, or psychiatry for medication management.
The SmartHealth Tier 2 (BCBS) network offers additional providers and locations for behavioral health services. These providers have the same copays and out-of-pocket costs as our Tier 1 network.
Additionally, you can quickly access virtual urgent care, therapy, and psychiatry through the Amwell platform, which is part of our Tier 1 services.
Virtual Behavioral Health Providers
Note: These providers are in the SmartHealth Tier 1 network but are not employed by Ascension. Virtual services are available in addition to the brick and mortar services that can be found on the Find a Doctor search tool.
