What type of medication do I have?

  • Maintenance Medications

    Maintenance medications (long-term medications) are taken on a regular basis, often every day and they can treat a wide range of on-going or chronic conditions and illnesses such as high blood pressure, diabetes, allergies or asthma. Confirm with your doctor if you are on a maintenance medication. Learn more about manitenance medications including types of medications and where to fill here.

  • Specialty Medications

    Specialty medications are defined as higher-cost oral or injectable medications used to treat complex chronic conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and cancer.

  • One Time Acute Prescriptions
    Acute medications are for health issues that have just arisen and they are normally not repeated or not needed regularly such as antibiotics, creams, pain medications, etc.
